FAMILY GUIDE

Navigating the Pediatric Feeding Disorder Journey

No parent ever imagines their child will struggle with feeding.

With PFD affecting over 2.3 million children annually in the United States alone, families are being thrown into a world without a road-map on how to navigate this difficult journey.  Feeding Matters and several healthcare professionals and families have come together to create the Family Guide to Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD).  This guide will educate families on PFD, direct them to the next steps to take, and offer helpful tips on how to advocate for their child.

The Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust funded the first edition of the Family Guide in 2019 and The Bruce and Diane Halle Foundation funded the second edition in 2024.
