We’re here to help

When your baby or child struggles with feeding, it can be frightening, isolating, overwhelming, and exhausting. You do not have to face this alone. Use the following resources to determine if your child’s feeding is cause for concern and find the resources you need to start on your journey.

Mealtimes should feel manageable, not overwhelming. The following screener will help you identify if your child’s eating problems are a cause for concern.

The family guide provides an overview of what PFD is, the professionals involved, and next steps to take as a parent or caregiver.

Have an honest conversation with your child’s doctor about what you go through on a daily basis to feed your child and ask about PFD. Bring your screener or Infant and Child Feeding Questionnaire© results (see step 1) and the signs & symptoms linked below to discuss.

Ask your child’s doctor about a feeding evaluation and referral to feeding therapy if needed. Locate a therapist in your area by using the Provider Directory.

The Power of Two Program is a one-to-one mentoring program that matches parents in need with one of Feeding Matters’ Family Coaches. Power of Two matches can be a one-time phone call, a 3 month match, or a 6 month match. Our Family coaches share their experience with PFD and offer emotional support and resources throughout the match.
